NOTICE TO MURRUMBIDGEE MEMBERS VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED FOR MASTERS CARNIVAL CATERING IN OCTOBER
Murrumbidgee, Tuggeranong and ANU clubs have been awarded the catering rights to the Masters Australian Football Carnival to be hosted in Canberra during October. The three clubs are doing it as a united exercise.
The Carnival will be held based at RMC Duntroon main oval and use RMC 2nd oval, ADFA main oval and the 2 ovals across the main road from ADFA/RMC entrance (Fairburn Ave) on Addison rd as well as Ainslie Oval for night matches. Our main catering centre will be at RMC main oval and we will run an outpost drinks van at the ovals across Fairburn Ave. We will also run catering for the opening ceremony and night games at Ainslie Oval on Monday 11th October and Saturday 16th October.
We need volunteers for shifts in the following timeslots:
Monday 11th October - Ainslie Oval - 3.00pm - 11pm
Tuesday 12th October - RMC - 7.30am - 6.30pm
Friday 15th October - RMC - 7.30am - 6.30pm
Saturday 16th October - Ainslie Oval - 5.00pm - 9.30pm
Sunday 17th October - RMC - 7.30am - 6.30pm
Monday 18th October - RMC - 7.30am - 6.30pm
Please contact Peter Marshall on 0417 203601 to indicate your availability (you can be general or nominate specific shifts at this stage and more detail will follow).
Responses by Wednesday 1 September appreciated. Keep in mind this is anticipated to raise in the vicinity of $30,000 for the clubs so whilst we appreciate there may be some long hours and time off work required, it is a huge reward for us as amateur clubs to raise some cash. All assistance greatly appreciated. |

Due to the absence of both coaches and some Committee people, we have decided to shift Presentation Night to Friday 5th November at Burns Club. More details to follow in the coming weeks. |

Coach: Warren Taylor Coming off a fighting display against ladder leaders ADFA, the Juggernauts go into their final match of the season looking to get a victroy over a fast improving Ainslie. Simon Robertson will be looking to get the edge over his older brother Greg (who plays for Ainslie) as they play against each other for the first time in a few years. After the match the Juggernauts will be undertaking a pub crawl through the city. Our starting point will be the Ainslie Football Club for after match presentations. Please bring a change of clothes if you wish to join us.
