Murrumbidgee FC is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in coaching our Women’s team in its first year of competition in the ACTWAFL competition.
The Women’s Team Coach will provide and coordinate AFL coaching services to the MFC Women’s Team, focussing on training sessions, fitness and skills development drills, player mentoring, training and match plans for the season and game day coaching. The coach will be supported by the Club’s Committee, senior coaches and Football Department.
Ideally we seek an accredited coach or a person willing to become accredited by attending a one-day AFL training session. Experience in AFL football would be an advantage but a willingness to become involved and a motivation to succeed are key attributes we are looking for.

ALL MENS AND WOMENS SIDES
After discussions with ACT Sportsground Hire our trainings will be now held at the following times:
Where - Stirling Oval, Teesdale Close Stirling*
When - Mondays and Wednesdays, 6pm til 8pm
Training starts at 6:00pm sharp. Bring boots and runners.
This year there will also be a team meeting on a Wednesday night after training in the sheds during the season. Preliminary teams will be announced at the meeting with confirmation on the website friday mornings.

Murrumbidgee FC Team BBQ 2010

The Murrumbidgee Football Club are hosting a Pre-Season BBQ. Come down and meet some of the players and committee members as we celebrate the start of the 2010 season. This is a family event so all are welcome; Partners, Kids, Parents and even Grandparents.
This BBQ also coincides with one of the MFC registration days so bring your rego money on the day.

Times: 1pm - 5pm
Food and Drinks available for purchase ($2 per sausage and $1 soft drink) BYO Alcohol.
Due to a firendly visit by the ranger on Monday (last night) we will be moving to our Stirling base one session earlier than expected.
This means that our session on Wednesday 20th January will be at Stirling Oval, Teesdale Close in Stirling. Be there at 6pm. All other sessions will be at Stirling Oval for the rest of the season unless notified otherwise.
Important Notice - to all footy players in Canberra!!! - Remember we are always looking for players new or "experienced" who want to come and play footy. We are always keen to welcome new players to the club so drop us an e-mail if you need any info!!!
