These are the two matches the Juggernauts have been keeping in the back of their minds since they played them the first time around. The two matches are remembered differently by each side for their own reasons. The ones are remembering back to Anzac Day where they had a depleted side against one of the best sides Tuggeranong could put on the park at any one time. The ones went down by six points in a courageous display. This time around though it is a different story with the Juggernauts fielding a reasonably strong side and Tuggeranong are the ones who have been depleted by injury. Juggers and Tuggeranong games are always close and very competitive so they shouldn't be taken lightly no matter what side they put on the paddock. The ones need a percentage boosting win that could see them move to third after a victory on Sunday while Tuggeranong are looking to salvage something out of a season where they have had no luck. The twos will field a side this weekend that resembles a side from the 80s. The Juggernauts have 35 players either away or injured this weekend which puts some presure on the depth of the squad. Last time the twos met Yass, the game wasn't all that special but it was the after match functions and subsequent road trip that the Juggernauts participated in that makes them ready to take on the Yass Roos again. A mammoth effort will be required for the twos to get up in this one but they are definately capable. |

Ladder after Round 12 Murrumbidgee First Grade (AFL Canberra Division 3) A disappointing loss against ADFA sees the Juggernauts holding on by the skin of their teeth to the final spot in the top four. The juggers play cellar dwellars Tuggeranong this week and need a big victory to get ahead of the ledger. Murrumbidgee Second Grade (AFL Canberra Division 4) A good fight against ADFA over the weekend. Unfortunately no four points for the struggling twos. The twos take on a travelling Yass this weekend hoping to turn around their fortunes. |
